I'm Walkin'

You'll be proud of me -- I've walked /
biked every day this week. There was also an hour of Pilates on Tuesday and a
round on the weight machines Wednesday. If I'm an incredibly good girl, I'll
haul myself out of bed at an early hour tomorrow and get me to the Y for biking
and weight machines before I lose half the day. But it's the first day of
summer, so don't count on it.
Watching the diet is "eh, not so
much..." We had our end-of-the-year party for my sorority chapter last night.
It was a "salad supper" but that meant not only green salads and that wonderful
brocolli-cauliflower-cranberry-nut deli salad, but also chicken-salad
dollar-roll sandwiches and jello salad and Five-Cup Salad (that was my
contribution) and for some reason, there were brownies and sweet quick-breads
there, too. I woke up this morning feeling like I'd been on a bender: bleary
eyes, cotton-mouth, and all. And there wasn't even any (much needed by me, I'm
PMS-ing) alcohol involved in getting that
way!
To appease the angry low-carb god, I
had an egg and V-8 for breakfast, and a black-and-blue salad for lunch. And
water all morning. Lots of water.
