Three Kline Nominations!!!


for "The Comedy of Errors"

The 2008 Kevin Kline nominees were announced today. The Comedy of Errors received three nominations:

Best Lead Actor in a Play: Cody Proctor, as Dromio (in the blue vest)





Best Supporting Actor in a Play: Jared Nell, as The Goldsmith (in the white scullcap)





And Best Costume Design:









Yes, that's me in the middle, in the red. But they don't give Klines for "Best Spinning Bought-My-Part-at-a-Charity-Auction Walk-On." Pity.

Oh, Mark Kelly, who played Antipholus in Comedy, played Mercutio last summer in Romeo and Juliet and damn-near stole the show out from under the leads. He's started his life in New York as of the new year. Break a leg, Mark.

In other acting news... Think I'll go to the cattle-call for the George Clooney movie that's filming in town in March and April. I haven't seen him in the flesh since Sister-in-Dallas got married. (The first time.)
