Ramping up
Time to work hard
Starting Sunday, we have rehearsals every
day except March 1 and 2. Sunday is all of the first half with extra work on
what we would have done last night if rehearsal hadn't been called because of
the weather. Monday is all of the second half. After that it's the whole
thing, every day.We move the
set into the theater late on March 2, and dress rehearsals start the next night.
We open with a morning high-school performance Friday, March 7.
Speaking of which -- I stuck
my head into the new theater teacher's room at Large High School, inquiring
after a good place to purchase make-up, and she asked me about performances.
I'd stuck a couple of the postcards on the theater bulletin board in the hall,
complete w/ info on the high school matinees and she said she'd check 'em out.
I think I may have brought in a bit more audience.
Yays.I haven't any inkling of
my costume yet -- KC, are
you doing a street vender, female, by any chance? Also I haven't talked to
Director as to whether she wants me older or a bit chubbier-of-cheek, which I
can do quite easily. If you think I look like Grandma B. IRL, you should see
what a little brown and clown white will do...
