Na-no, Na-noOk, it's cool.
The new iPod Nano is cool. And I want my
own iPod, just not that damn Shuffle. But other than the sheer geek factor of
having an iPod that weighs an ounce and a half instead of six ounces and fits in
the watch pocket of my jeans, why should I shell out $250 for a 4GB Nano when I
can get 20GB for a mere $50 more? Especially since the battery is soldered in
-- not exactly replaceable when it finally refuses to accept a recharging. Oh,
and they don't support the video output yet,
either.
On the fun side, just because geeks love to take things apart and also break them: Ars Tecnica's review of the Nano. Catch especially the stress testing, and the pix of the guts for you electro-geeks. UPDATE: Hubby says the reason I can't have a 20GB iPod is because it'll have more memory than his. And here all this time I thought he was comfortable in his masculinity... Posted: Tue - September 13, 2005 at 09:54 AM Home | | View Technorati reactions |
