- ¾ cup chicken broth
- 1½ cups milk
- 1 cup broccoli, chopped
- ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded

In a pot, sauté the onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper; cook and stir until smooth and bubbly. Add broth and milk together; cook on HIGH, stirring frequently, until boiling (it will thicken). Add broccoli; reduce heat; simmer, stirring constantly, until heated through. Add cheese; stir until melted. Remove from heat. Serve immediately.
