ingredients

  • 2 cups cran-raspberry drink, chilled
  • 1 bottle Beaujolais, chilled
  • 1 pint strawberries, washed, hulled, chilled (divided use)
  • 2 cups raspberries, chilled (divided use)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 small navel oranges, thinly sliced

directions

Combine cran-raspberry drink and red wine in large bowl. Put half of strawberries and raspberries in processor with 2 tablespoons sugar; puree. Add to bowl.

Slice remaining strawberries and toss with remaining sugar. Add to bowl along with remaining whole raspberries and orange slices. Serve immediately in chilled glasses.

To prepare in advance, chill sliced strawberries and remaining raspberries, adding them just before serving. Makes 2 quarts or 8 to 12 servings.
