My humble beginnings

This shows a brief history of how I started flying and why it is such an integral part of my life.

Our Taylorcraft after the fabric was replaced and a new paint job. Circa 1953
Mom and Dad pose with the Taylorcraft for the local newspaper. 1954
Mom gets ready to take it around the patch.
Dad does has the armstrong starter. Simpler times, no electricity required.
Take it around again!
The next plane was a Piper although not as nice as the Taylocraft.
Dad's adventure into warbird ownership was a PT-26. 1956
We replaced the left wing on this AT-6 after an landing accident enroute to LAL.
I soloed in dad's 150, 328M and got my private ticket.
Dad in Maintenance Tech School, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, 1979.

The first airplane I owned, Cardinal RG. Bought from fish spotter, with 8K+ hrs.
Sold Cardinal and bought this Cessna 310J being parted out in Alaska.
