GENERAL NEWS:
Graduation - June 12, 5pm at the new convention center.
ALL DIGITAL TV IS HERE: goodbye analog TV. Put it with your 8 tracks and Beta machines. Broadcast TV stations stopped analog broadcasting on Friday, June 12. This change only affects people who view TV using antennas. Cable and satellite TV services are not affected. Nielsen reported that 2.8 million American households, or 2.5 percent of the television market, are completely unready for the transition. Handheld Walkman style TVs and battery operated TVs used in vehicles and the cottage are now obsolete. Some analog TVs can work with a converter. If you need help making the transition, call 888-CALL-FCC.
Driving Eligibility Certificates will not be signed until after 2nd semester grades are recorded. Student Services will resume signing the forms on Thursday, June 18, 2009.
