He useally worry about to have conviction on Reliability, Quality of the Kit, Responsibility, etc. of the kit maker of the over sea. And also there is a very high risk on descision in selection of the kit maker. Then, he usually check catalogues, home pages of the makers, or listen to whom he has a good idea for the log houses, or to see the model houses, or to see the actual log houses. But, finally, he will know that he has to believe or not "the People who handle the kit." I have been worked as a planner / importer / constructing advisor of the log house for about 13 years with Traditional Log Hose Ltd. And I would like to state a testimony for this company. The first of all, I put a perfect confidence on Mr.Duncan Morris and his wife Vivian. I have met many foreingn people in my life, but no one is so confidential people as Mr.Duncan Morris in ove sea. The second, the quality of the kit, it depend on the quality of the log and log spieces. It is well known that the Westren Red Cedar is the best spiece for the log house. Generally the total volume of this W.R.C. logs are becoming smaller now, Traditional cut the logs off in November (the least moisture conents season ) and also they use other best quality log species of Douglas Fir or Spruce. The third, the technique of their log work is very excellent. I am introduced their log house kits for many Japanese clients without anxious in quality, function or stability.
