100 Million Free Songs


やっぱりこんなCMはアメリカ的ですよね...
Well, this kind of CM must be American things.


もうiTunesな皆様は１億曲もあげちゃうキャンペーンをご存知だと思いますが、このCMはかなり意味深な内容。ではこのCMを見る前に少し英語の単語を予習しましょう。

Incriminated... 告発された。If something incriminates you. it suggests that you are responsible for something bad、especially a crime.
Accused.....告訴された。If you are accused of a crime, a witness or someone in authority states or crime, a witness or someone in authority states or claims that you did it, and you maybe formally charged with it and put on trail.
Charged..... 告訴、告発。When the police charge someone, they formally accuse them of having done something illegal.
Busted.... 逮捕された。If someone is busted, the police arrest them.
Prosecute.... 起訴。When a lawyer prosecutes a case, he or she tries to prove that the person who is on trail is guilty.
Legally.... 合法的に。 An action or situation that is legal is allowed or required by law.
Fought.... Fightの過去、過去分詞。I fought the law. 法律をいい方向に変えた、挑戦したって感じでしょうか？

それではここでCMを見てみましょう。

実は彼女、インターネットでPeer to Peerと呼ばるアプリ(kazaaとかね)で曲をフリーダウンロードして告訴され確か2000ドルぐらい罰金を払うことになった人であります。ただこれもすべての人が告訴されたわけではなく、ほんの一部のみであり、また彼女が中学生ぐらい？であったことや裕福な家庭でなかったため世間的には同情されたという経歴。このCMの中で堂々と私は起訴されたと宣言し、私たちはまだ曲をただでダウロード出来ます...ふふふ。というのであります。さらに曲が「I fought the law.」日本だとちょっと考えられないCM。(ちなみに他の出演者も告訴された人たちみたいです)

さて自分はこのCMの内容はともかく彼女の契約金が気になってしまった(笑)。だってこれぞまさしく「棚から契約金？」仮に２万ドルだったとしても「おいしい〜」
