Back in NYC

Uneventful day. I rode the train up from Ashland to New York City, quickly left Penn Station on the C train, and then walked to my dorm. I have unpacked, cleaned up the mess my roommate left sitting in the apartment for the past three weeks (milk, trash, dirty dish, etc), and generally adapted to the cold weather.

Here is a picture I took out the window as our train rolled through Washington around 11 am. Maybe if I venture out to Kmart tonight, you will get another image. It is dark, and my camera lacks a tripod, so don't count on anything amazing.

Initial impressions: NYC is cold. Good thing I have a jacket and gloves, right? Yale Club party tomorrow. Moot Court work needs to be done. I am not going to do anything this evening. But I should buy groceries. Nothing exciting happened on the train. Nothing exciting happened on the subway. I will probably spend the night listening to the final four commentary tracks on the Ben Stiller DVD. I am also supposed to purchase the LOTR: Two Towers DVD, but Judson informs me that it is atheist propaganda, so I am worried I will show up on some list. Not really, but that's the only joke I can think of right now. I'm going to get back to incorporating my digital camera supplies into my room.
