First post! I apologize for the long absence. Things have occurred, but none of them seemed worthy of an entry. I spent New Year's Eve on a farm near Roanoke. I drove long distances and realized my minivan had hit the 150,000 mile milestone. I was in Nova. I went back to Williamsburg. I spend four days in Charlottesville doing everything I did the last time I visited. Nothing amazing, and all done in ways that did not inspire me to write.

So what inspired this entry? I am now the owner of a digital camera, and I have chosen what picture should have the dubious honor of being the first to partially go on my journal. Perhaps later I will tell you more about the camera. Below you will find a image of Phil, Andy, Mark, and Walter outside of their chosen bar. The image has been cropped and shrunk by a photo editing program, mainly because 50 images at the maximum quality would kill my webspace. So don't expect to be able to print out photo-quality graphics from any future photos posted here.



We had met up around 9 to play pool in the West End. No one was really into it (I was watching the Cowboys get their butts handed to them), so "The Playing Field" could not hold our attention long and we began searching for alternative venues. On a side note, before we decided where to go, the cashier at the pool hall was a jerk to us. I wanted to say something clever, but nothing came to mind, so the moment passed. Andy may have yelled something once we got outside, but it did not impact his life in any way. So then we decided to go frequent a place that would serve us food politely.

We ended up going to the pictured fine establishment to take advantage of the 30 for the price of 20 wing special. After eating, I drove home and made this journal entry after selecting the best picture from the night. You can imagine how annoyed my friends were by the multiple pictures I took of almost every event. So, there you go. The End.
