NYU GAL'S DORM A DRUG SHOP: COPS Cops escort freshman Julia Diaco from 10th Precinct station house last night after she was nabbed for allegedly dealing drugs. April 28, 2004 -- An 18-year-old NYU freshman was busted yesterday for allegedly dealing drugs out of her dorm room, as well as in and around Washington Square Park and near a local elementary school, police said. Julia Diaco, who lives in the well-to-do town of Rumson, N.J., was arrested as she walked near St. Marks Place on her way to a pre-arranged drug transaction with an undercover cop, according to Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau. She had several ounces of high-grade pot and a scale with her at the time, he said.
