X-Mas 2004

Merry Christmas, everyone. This year Becky and I went down to Chestertown, Maryland to visit my Mom and Dad to celebrate the holiday. We were joined by Sebastian, Joanna (who flew in all the way from L.A.), Tommy and Jocelyn.

Becky and I started early with gifts to each other. I got an Eagles cap, a new office chair and a great sweater. Oh, and a gift certificate to Macy's. She also surprised me with Mario Cart racing for the Nintendo 64. An old game, I know, but a classic in our book.

As for Becky, she got a new tennis racket, a gift certificate to Anne Taylor Loft and two CDs she has been wanting.

Maxine got another chew toy ...

... which lasted an entire 10 hours.

The night was fun. We started by trading our Secret Santa gifts, had some appetizers, then more presents. We continued with drinks, dinner and the original-Guschls went to the Midnight service.

I got some great clothes and books and movies, but the person who made out the best was Sebastian. He pulled in toys and clothes and whatever else he could put into his mouth.

Here are some photos from the night.

Bash got a card and a nice gift from his great-Grammy.

He hung out with his uncle Tad for a good portion of the night.

His uncle Tad gave him a "Baby Tad" that speaks in both English and Spanish.

His Auntie Joanna got him a Learning Band Walker.

He also got his own phone so he can be like his daddy.

He ate some cookies, posed for me ...

... talked with his Aunt Becky ...

... and he hung out with his daddy. There was so many stimuli for him that he was tough to put to sleep.

But there were more toys in the morning and I'm sure he had a great 1st Christmas.

We all had a great holiday as well.
