Allergic to English?
Kevin was here over night. We took him out to Aka Oni (Red Devil) to drink
sake and nibble otsumami. It's a good place, they have a lot (over 100 sorts) of sake and
some of them are quite unusual.
As always seems to happen when people visit, i've
ended up feeling ill. Despite my apparent invulnerability to japanese colds and flu,
anyone form england, whether they are ill are not, can reduce me to seeping pile of
mucous. It didn't even take Kevin 12 hrs!
We are probably going to meet up again
tomorrow. Today he's gone to Disneyland with his wife and a friend. Getting into the car
at Saginuma station (don't ask) he had the look of a condemned man. It's a long, long way
to Disneyland by car on a monday morning and it's hardly a choice destination...
It
was good to be able to chat english and use normal English english speech patterns. I've
probably known Kevin longer than any of my other current friends, so there's a lot of
shared stuff that makes it easy to catch-up. We sat up until 2am playing Gran Turismo. I
think i won one race, the first, at Laguna Seca. Much fun.
It'll all end in tears Sleep Email Comments
