Shelby Farms in October

Charlie and I love our weekly trips to this off-leash park east of the city. Follow along with us on our usual route.

First, we walk right around the first lake. Charlie checks it out. In no hurry--not any dogs in view yet. Hey . . . There's some! Stop playing with that shiny box and let's go!!!!! On the move Gotta watch out for these thorns. The last thistle of the season. Hey . . . where'd Charlie go? Oh, just off chasing rabbits again. Waiting for mom again . . . Which way? A stop at the watering hole . . . where are all the dogs???? Let's take the bike trail? Almost there! Finally . . . our favorite spot. Ahhh . . . . That's enough for today!
