South Park: Perhaps the Joke's on Everybody.

First off, kudos to MacRaven for writing in to Comedy Central about their whacked-out sense of liberty and the First Amendment freedoms. Following his example, I also wrote in an email, but haven't received a response. Guess I'm just not all that loved.

I'm not sure myself. The figure is definitely there, according to my iTunes-purchased episodes. Whether it's actually Mohammed or not is open to interpretation. There are certainly many other religious figures scattered throughout the opening segment -- Jesus, Buddha, and Satan all appear in the same frame with the possible Mohammed, along with Darth Chef, Mecha Streisand, and Towely.

I guess you can see what you want to see, just like in any cartoon. And maybe that's the point. Who can say?
