Asatour: Pisa
Greetings from Monterosso, in the Cinque Terre!
I have departed Pisa, and am not at the next to-next to last stop on my tour of
Italy. Pisa was nice. I had a great
hotel with a perfect view of the Leaning Tower (see the pictures when they're
up) called he Grand Hotel Duomo. It was a great place to stay -- good location
and fairly nice rooms with reasonable rates. I had a little balcony from which
some of the photos were taken; others were taken from the accessible roof.
Because the tower was leaning TOWARD my hotel, though, you can't really tell
from my room shots that it's leaning at all. There are other photos taken near
the church that do demonstrate the lean,
however.
There's not really much else in Pisa.
I had a relaxing couple of days, and got some more sun. I didn't manage to get
on the internet, so I have a slew (a small slew) of blog entries awaiting the
next WiFi event. It won't be here in Cinque Terre, most likely. Perhaps in
Venice.
