One of the basic instruments of the woodwind family, the clarinet has brought us the music of the classical masters, the swing tunes of the 1940s and the cool melodies of jazz.
We recommend students be 8 years old to start clarinet lessons. We also welcome adult students.
Weekly lessons are available in 30-minute, 45-minute and 60-minute durations. All lessons are taught in our education facilities at First Baptist Church of Duluth, in Duluth, GA.

A well-respected musician on both woodwinds and percussion, Jay has taught for more than 30 years. His performance credits include Principal Clarinet chairs in the Ludwig Symphony Orchestra and Gwinnett Community Clarinet Choir, clarinet in the Atlanta Wind Symphony and Gwinnett Community Band, and percussion while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Jay currently teaches clarinet, saxophone and percussion in Marietta and Alpharetta, and coaches percussion for Duluth and Shiloh high school marching band programs.
