the journey of a thousand miles...
...begins with a single step. I have been
accepted by an organization that will place me in a teaching job in Shenzhen,
China. I will leave my home in comfortable Orange County, CA and move to the Far
East in August of 2005. The term will begin with three weeks of training and
language classes in Beijing, then I will take the long train ride to Shenzhen to
start my new life. I'm so looking forward to turning my life completely upside
down. This is going to be the hardest journey of my life, I think, but, as time
goes by, it will get easier.
