I was just saying the other day that I would like them to release The Lone Gunmen on DVD. Fortunately, the DVD gods heard my prayers. It's too bad that Chris Carter could never propagate a successful TV series besides The X-Files. TLG was a nice try, though, and, despite being short-lived, I rather enjoyed it. I was so disappointed when Byers, Langley and Frohike were killed off in the final season of X-Files (the episode is included as a bonus on the TLG set). Why Carter chose to kill all of my favorite characters (except for Mulder and Scully, of course)--Deepthroat, X, the Gunmen, Krycek, the Well-groomed Gentleman, the Cancer Man--is beyond me. Still... we never actually saw the Gunmen die. Could be one more conspiracy.
