Miyazaki madness! 



Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind was finally released on DVD here in the States. I'd heard much about this Hayao Miyazaki film, though I'd never seen it. But since I consider myself a Miyazaki fan, I went ahead and bought it anyway. I am so looking forward to the U.S. release of Miyazaki's latest film, Howl's Moving Castle (which I've heard will be sometime in June), and I was hoping to visit the Studio Ghibli Museum in Japan in April. Unfortunately, the only day I would be able to go is the only day the museum is closed each week. I guess I'll have to get there next time. Anyway, I watched Nausicaa this afternoon and enjoyed it quite a bit. It's not my favorite Miyazaki film (I think that would have to be Castle in the Sky), but I'm still happy to add it to my collection.
