The Story Of A Lifetime Overview: Life Story is a project dedicated to making art out of memories. The goal of this project is to capture your unique story and present it as a timeless, heart-felt gift for your loved ones to enjoy. On-site audio recording assures a quick turn-around time and allows for a fun, relaxed, creative experience in your own home environment. Professional-quality digital recording allows us to combine multiple sessions, edit unwanted material, splice in music/ambient effects, and render a seamless, quality product. Product: One full-length audio c.d. including stories, songs, poems, and heart-felt sentiments to nurture and inspire your family and friends. Each c.d. is designed to reflect your individual personality, incorporating as much creative input from you as possible. A 5-part Template has been designed to help guide you through the process of recording material for your c.d. Part 1: The Interview A list of leading interview questions to help you elaborate about your life. You are welcome and encouraged to improvise some of the content as it will inevitably help you to discover new ideas and feelings. Part 2: Creative Writing Personal writings and/or famous poems that are powerful for you. Part 3: Oral History A brief summary of important events that have taken place in your life will provide a grounded understanding of who you are and help future generations remember and identify with where they came from. Part 4: Sentiments This gives you the opportunity to address specific family members or the world at large. Part 5: Music & Ambient Effects Three to five of your favorite songs or melodies will be woven in between each piece to determine the overall mood and tone of your c.d. Ambient effects (such as a cat meowing, or the room-noise from a busy restaurant) can also help the story progress forward in an interesting and engaging manner.
