08/08/2007: "You go girl!"

I just watched the video on NASA's website of the space shuttle Endeavor lifting off and sending a teacher in to space! I have to admit that I held my breath, although I already knew it went without a hitch. Hooray for Barbara Morgan . Hooray for teachers!

Did you notice the birds flying across the camera view while the "bird" was lifting off? Flight is a marvelous thing!
