07/12/2006: "i was determined"

i was determined to sit down and write something witty and crafty and i got nothing. i have been working away at a bunch of things that aren't finished yet and then i've just been working. summer camps are in full swing (at least this week) and so i pretty much come home and melt into a little puddle. then the symposium starts in about a week. aaack. i am sure there are a million details that i still need to do something about. so it will probably be a little quiet until all of that is finished up....

meanwhile, happy 14th birthday to my rachel! hope you had a fun day! i naturally forgot about taking pictures of what i sent her until i had it all wrapped up and in the envelope. the middle mystery picture below is fabric from a skirt i made for her. plus she got some zippered bags with japanese fabric with super cute owls and a copy of pride and prejudice. every girl need to start jane austen somewhere!
