12/06/2005: "as promised"

robot magnets, series two. today i felt like playing with clay. i have been working afternoons this week so i have had my mornings free for other things. andy and i did a set of robot magnets a while back and i decided that it was time for more. i wanted originally to play with textures in polymer clay. i watched an artist once working with polymer clay and rubber stamps. it was interesting the different things she could do with it. so andy got out his toolbox of electronic bits and pieces and we started smushing clay on to circuit boards, plugs, gears and bits. from there we started making robots. you can see bigger pictures over at the etsy shop because they are all up for sale.
