05/25/2005: "toothpicks"

toothpicks (22k image)
on another blog i read, the author was wondering about knitting little tiny objects. i made a comment about my great-grandmother knitting with toothpicks. i just had to pull out this little sweater and take a picture. i am sure mom will comment with more details... smile

What a sweet sweater. Your great-grandmother must have had a lot of talent, good eyesight, and patience!

ok. not my great grandma. mom explained it and it is complicated (my notes are in the other room). it is my 3rd cousin (my great grandma's niece) and she was an amazing needleworker.
