12/06/2004: "getting ready for shows..."
  | i have been getting ready for holiday shows like crazy the last couple of weeks. i mentioned to my mom that i had done a complete redesign on my finger puppets so i wanted to post some pictures for her. <-- new old (below) i switched from felt to fleece and designed more machine sewing and less fussy hand work. i think they are a lot more appealing and they are much more fun for me. i made 9 sets just this morning. i had been so procrastinating making the old style ones that i had a set waiting to be finished that i owed to my friend danielle since last christmas. (yikes!) |
i also silk-screened some cards this weekend. i wanted to do something that was festive and holiday like without being really christmas-y. i really like the way these turned out. they have a little clear glitter on the mittens which doesn't really come across in the scan, but it makes them shimmer.
