11/11/2004: "girl power."

west wing is my favorite show on tv. in fact, it is just about the only show that i actually watch.

2 new reasons i love west wing: (no spoilers here, this is nothing you haven't seen in the promos)

1. in the storyline, they just promoted a woman to the president's chief of staff.
2. they have hired kristin chenoweth for a new recurring character. (kristin chenoweth is the original glinda from wicked, which i also love)

I love West Wing too! And the decision to make CJ cheif of staff was sheer brilliance. Don't you just love all the women characters on West Wing? Donna, CJ, Margaret (and Ainsley too when she was on the show once upon a time)...love em, love em, love em.

it is truly one of those rare shows with brilliant female characters. alias is another favorite - we have watched all of that one on dvd. we actually watched the last episode of west wing two nights in a row. i taped it, but missed the first 10 minutes, so thurs when we got another copy, we just sat down and watched it all again.
