Issue 3 of Hyper Quarterly was mailed to subscribers on December 31, 1999. A description of the issue will be forthcoming on the web site. Apple Blossom Publishing offered two publications for Apple II users. The Apple Blossom was a printed newsletter with subscribers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Australia and Japan. It focuses on software reviews, how-to articles, and interviews with Apple II programmers, publishers and other digerati. Hyper Quarterly was a two-disk subscription of HyperCard IIGS stacks that run the gamut from games to PostScript graphic utilities, with photo albums and cookbooks mixed in for good measure. Three issues were shipped It is my hope to eventually make some of the HyperCard stacks that subscribers enjoyed available on this web site. We still sell the Apple II Modem Starter Disk, in 3.5" disks (for IIGS, IIc+ and IIc/IIe computers with Unidisk drives) which contains all of the software needed to begin using a modem with an Apple II. And it's only 3 bucks, shipping included! The Modem Starter Disk will soon be discontinued. When existing stock runs out, the service will be terminated. This site also provides information for Apple II users, including a directory of Apple II publishers, hardware and software retailers, and a nascent and newly updated FAQ on HyperCard IIGS. |
