But wait! There's more! Our good friend Beth Damon recorded a Beans show last weekend. Check out her fun clips here on YouTube.

September 9, 2007 ~ New photos, "Famous Blue Apron" at #1
Be sure to check out the "Gallery" page—lots of fun photos. And it's been awhile since I noted it here, but "Famous Blue Apron" spent the last two weeks of August in the #1 spot on the WOT90 charts. Last week it was at #2, and this week at #4. A fun ride! Thanks to all who voted for it on the WOT90 website.

July 12, 2007 ~ Internet Radio Play
There's a nice feller up in Halifax, Canada, who has an internet radio station called WOT 90, featuring the female voice. He found me in myspace and asked to include my song "Famous Blue Apron" in his rotation.
So check it out--

Hooray for very cool internet radio guys in Halifax!
July 5, 2007 ~ Thank you, Jimmy!
Yesterday morning the incredible guitarist Jimmy Galloway (we met playing together with Letters to Mary) came by to add some slide guitar, acoustic guitar, and mandolin to several songs for my CD. Can’t say enough about how amazing it’s sounding. Jimmy’s own solo project will be out very soon. You will want to hear this!
I have been so fortunate that all these excellent musicians have been so generous with their time and talent to help me with this recording. It really does take a village to make a CD!
June 25, 2007 ~ New shots on Gallery page
From some recent Local Honey and Old Enough to Know Better gigs
June 17, 2007 ~ Old Enough to Know Better on YouTube!
Thanks to our friend Beth D., we're on YouTube! Go to our myspace page to have a look. Also on the gallery page.
June 11, 2007 ~ Thank you, Joe and Jack
In the past three weeks, two more bass players, Joe Crespino and Jack Brantley, have come in and added tracks for the rest of the songs on the CD. Everyone has been so incredibly generous with their time, and I am so grateful. With a couple of tweaks here and there, the recording is finished! Now it's fun with mixing. Still aiming for a fall release. One foot in front of the other . . .
May 22, 2007 ~ Floating Around in Myspace
Well, I finally went and did it: I created a myspace page. I feel younger already. Please, oh please, won't you be my friend at myspace.com/allisonadamsmusic?
May 18, 2007 ~ New photos and update on studio work (thank you Eric and Rob)
Check out the "gallery" page for great shots from recent Old Enough to Know Better gigs (thanks, photographer Dad!)
And there's been lots of progress on the recording front. A trip to Boston in April resulted in some great lead guitar tracks from my dear friend and guitarist extraordinaire Eric Berry, and a couple of weeks ago fabulous bassist and generous soul Rob DeFriese graciously came by to add some bass parts on several songs. Bassist Joe Crespino comes in this weekend to add some more. It's sounding great!
Finally, I thought I'd show off the CD cover art. Take a look! Thanks to photographers Bill DeLoach (portrait) and Jim Boone (redbud shot)
March 2, 2007 ~ Fun new photos!
Check out the "gallery" page for great shots from Gathering Grounds in February
February 20, 2007 ~ Studio progress (thank you, Paul and Paige)
Piano Playin' Paul Jean (short for "Jeanius") came in and added some lovely piano parts. Paige came in a week or so later and sang some lovely harmonies. Plus, a new song—the CD's title track! Visit the "Listen" page.
February 6 , 2007 ~ Letters to Mary CD In the Meantime Reviewed (or, "Allison Adams does then again a penny in the bag on the concertina.")
In the Meantime got positive reviews in January in two places—About: Atlanta and a Belgian ezine. Here's a link to the About: Atlanta review.
And here's the Belgian ezine review (my favorite!).
January 1, 2007 ~ Allison Makes a Resolution!
On January 1, Allison promised herself that 2007 would be the year she releases a CD of her original songs. It's now in the works (check the "Listen" page for a couple of rough previews). More to come!
