Who We Are

family voices Family Voices is a network made up of families in Alberta who are committed to creating inclusive community lives for their sons and daughters with developmental disabilities.  We provide a powerful vehicle for families to connect to one another, share information, support each other and advocate for needed supports, services and funding.

Family Voices is divided into six regions.  This is because more and more decisions that directly affect the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families are being made at the regional level.  It is essential for all regional authorities to hear the voice of families.  Families, in turn, need a strong voice to ensure they are heard.
