 It's been awhile and some folks are asking, so I guess it's time for an update.
Currently, my hi-fi rig consists of (from upstream to downstream)-
Sources (descending order):
- NAD C542 cd-player (used as a transport feeding a Muscial Fidelity X-Series V3 "stack" comprising):
- X-DACV3 digital-analog converter
- X-10V3 tube output buffer
- X-CANV3 tube headphone amplifier (driving Sennheiser HD-580 headphones)
- above 3 components powered by X-PSUV3 outboard power supply unit
- Sirius SL100 portable satellite radio receiver
- iTunes via AirTunes/Airport Express (Apple Lossless & high bit-rate MP3 as preferred format)
- Tivoli Audio SongBook (used as FM tuner)
Control/Amplification:
- PrimaLuna ProLogue Two integrated tube amplifier with Svetlana EL34 power tubes, stock PrimaLuna12AX7/12AU7 pre-amp/driver tubes
