...since I've updated the Blog.
The quick & dirty 4-1-1:
- Busy season at work... talking 70+ hour workweeks for a few weeks straight. Good thing I get OT otherwise, would've been really hard to pull off.
- A unplanned moto-trip down to Georgia. Which I really needed and might have gone insane without.
- Holiday game rush. Lots of new releases. Good thing I am disciplined enough to stick to just one console, my X360. This holiday, there is PS3 & Wii... all vying for your consumer dollar.
Perhaps the two most treasured developments: |
- Termignoni 50mm kit. Yeah, too much $$$. :(
But... one ride on it and cost becomes a less significant consideration. Bike has 12+ more hp and lb. ft. of torque. Sheds ~ 10 lbs. And gains 22dB.
The roaring intake noise and thundering basso remind you every moment you are riding. Aural stimulation. Hopefully, it won't prove to be too much of a good (bad?) thing. :P
On the flip-side, I am no longer green from a noise or emissions standard. 102dB and the catalytic converter has gone bye-bye. |
 |
- Tubes. My rig already features tubes... I use the MF X-10V3 tube buffer upstream with my CD player and MF X-CANV3 tube headphone amp.
Not sure if I am really going to trade-in my 150w solid state MF A3.5 for this PrimaLuna ProLogue Two 40w tubed integrated I'll have to listen to it and hear for myself but lately, I've been really enamored with the sonic characteristics of tubes. Especially with the reviews these affordable (relatively) all-tube integrateds have been getting.
