Damn!!! It was colder than hell this past weekend! (MSF @ COD #1)

But I still got over 150miles (commuting, unfortunately) in on the bikes.
I never take any other form of transportation to/from a MSF class. If the students have to ride during crappy weather. I will ride in crappy weather.

Wet & wild on Friday. (rain, rain, rain)
Cold and windy on Saturday. (~ 45F)
Really cold Sunday Morning. (<40F)
Nice Sunday afternoon (~55F)

Something is wrong when snow flurries are falling on my bike in late April.

It made for a long weekend- it was so cold with the wind chill, we were taking long (10' +) breaks after every exercise on Saturday.

Noteworthy
-about 50/50 split of male/female students
-young married couple in class together (depressing... I'm still single)
-two sisters in class together (same Riding & Written scores! freaky!)

I was a little rusty, what with this being my first class of the year. But I had a good time despite the cold and I rediscovered why I like to teach and how rewarding it is for me. Also met another cool fellow instructor. I suppose I've been blessed with good co-instructors.

Well, I guess I can say it's been a decent weekend...
