My Meteo- like a Weatherbug on the Mac but free and free of shitty advertising bullshit- read 29F at 6:30am this morning as I headed out the door. Below freezing... and I'm in my Joe Rocket textile and jeans with Widder electric vest, ready to start off the day with an invigorating commute on a two-wheels.
Alas, it was not meant to be...

I flattened my battery trying to get the `ole girl SV650 started this morning for my morning commute. Strangely, she would not turn over with ANY amount of choke or throttle opening. She fired up with ZERO choke but would not stay lit and dies upon choke or throttle opening. Hmmm... disturbing this is.
I suppose I deserved it... neglecting the bike, overdue for a lot of scheduled maintenace (valve adjust, fork servicing, coolant change, brake fluid change, you get the picture).
She reminded me in her own way that she desperately needs and deserves TLC. |
