Karl basking in the limelight

Dear all,

Below please find the link to the story that was done by local TV station KELO. It is a well-done, tasteful piece, and the only negative was voiced by one of his occupational therapists: "Karl is doing so much better, just in the last two weeks since they did the filming!"

It's true. Karl just got the first phase of testing done today for the Sioux Falls School District. He could, albeit slowly, match shapes, remember objects, and point to which object is used for what. There are a couple of questions regarding his short-term memory and vision, but I was very, very pleased.

Someone reminded me recently that I cannot have Karl's status determine my own personal barometer. Such true words, made even clearer by an email that was written after my last entry, "This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!"

God is good.

P.S. Many folk have asked about the Audi after the "run-in." The kind people who own the car which was bumped by my car when it rolled backwards out of gear passed on the insurance thing. Gold stars in their crowns! Now if I could just get the alternator to work...
