The Free Speech Movement We organized, collected monies, rallyed and demonstrated for civil rights but UC banned activity. 1A Documentatiion Meeting Meeting at the FSM Cafe Terrace to plan coverage of 5 day anniversary events. 1C Social Changes Today Panel Discussion of strategies and tactics for contined social justice. 1D Savio Memorial Lecture Molly Ivins guest and Jason West honored Young Activist. 2A FSM and the Sixties Lessons for today. 2B How The FSM Worked Nuts and bolts of how the FSM operated. 2C Black Freedom Struggle Panel organized by Rivka Polatnik: Institute for Study of Social Change UCBerkeley 2D Ramifications of FSM Precursors, meaning, implications, legacy and consequences of FSM. 3A Friday Noon Rally Atop a UC Police car we rededicated the struggle for civil liberties. 3A1 Teach Ins Small discussion groups on cvurrent civil liberty issues. 3B Presidential Debate Satirists comment on the televised debate. 3C Sy Hersh Interview KQED Talk Show Host Michael Krasny hosts a lively interchange. 4A Civil Liberty Panels Hundreds attended a variety of ten discussions on current civil liberty challenges. 4B Satire Performances Arnie Passman brought together strong entertainers to make us laugh. 4C Folk Music Concert Filling Pauley Ballroom with righteous music and a joyful packed audience. 5A Memorial We honor & remember our fellows who have passed. 5B Reunion Sunday After a week of politics we have a chance to smooze, eat and drink.
