Full name: Jeffrey du Vallier d'Aragon Aranita

That name alone conjures images of romanticism. Jeffrey is one of those souls that never rests. Ever-searching for more truth, more humanity and more beauty. He is a self defined artist who creates poetry with a camera.

Jeffrey grew up in more cultures than even I have and has first hand experience of close calls as a war photojournalist. He has done so many things that it would be unfair to even try to list them here. Most importantly for me, he has transcended beyond art criticism, beyond the bounds of language, cultures, and nationalism. A fellow planetary citizen and an artist at that!

It would be an understatement to say that he is one of the most colourful personalities that I have ever met and it would be an even bigger understatement to say that making his acquaintance has been interesting and rewarding.

Jeffrey was the driving force behind a series of group exhibitions we held about a year ago under the name "New Chinese Art".
