Kindred Spirit




HONG KONG

From little things like having chosen exactly the same colour and model mobile phone to bigger things like our love-hate relationship of the mainland or the fact that we don't have a hometown, Dave B. and I agreed that we were kindred spirits. We didn't realize how true that was until the following occured:

A bunch of us had dinner and went for drinks afterwards including Dave, one thing led to another and I was reminded by Chi that my birtdhay should be coming up. I tried to deflect that by asking Dave when his birthday is and it turns we are born on exactly the same month and same day and exactly 12 years apart, that not only makes us Capricorn but also we share the same sign in the Chinese zodiac which repeats every 12 years.
