My favourite shop on the planet




TOKYO

This is the Yodobashi Camera Head Store in Shinjuku. There are actually many Yodobashi outlets but this one is the one for me.

It is a complex of 5 floors of camera equipment and film. Virtually anything you might ever need, you can find it here. But the reason it is my favourite shop is because the have one of almost every kind of camera available as demo for you to touch, hold, play with. These demo cameras are all secured with steel wires to the counters to make sure they don't get carried away.

I can easily spend a few hours in this shop examining all the vast varieties of accessories, bags, gadgets, lights, filters, flashes, tripods, backdrops and the list goes on and on....
