Shanghai - Westin Hotel Lobby




SHANGHAI

The very impressive lobby of the Westin Hotel in Shanghai where I stayed during my 3 day visit.

The entire staircase is internally lit (each individual step is made of glass and it glows) the colour changes uniformly every few seconds so that the entire ambience of the 3 storey lobby changes according to every colour of the rainbow.

I managed to get a good deal with Dragonair (air ticket + hotel) because October 1st is National day in China and there is heavy travel one way from Shanghai to Hong Kong.
