PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
I am a native of Southern California, born in Los Angeles, and a resident of Del Mar since 1971. I am a graduate of Torrey Pines High School, and have been teaching in the San Diego Community College District since 1997, when I began teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Mesa College. In the Fall of 2004 I became Assistant Professor of Political Science at Miramar College and for the San Diego Community College District Online.
INTERESTS
After attending graduate schools on the East Coast for 6 years, I returned to raise my 3 children in my hometown of Del Mar, California. Outside of teaching, I have just been readmitted to M.I.T. and am completing my dissertation research as a non-resident doctoral student. Outside of scholarship and family, my hobbies are running, mountain biking, hiking, and skiing. I share some of my favorite photos of the outdoors on the link below!
I am a political junkie and follow politics closely...if I'm not reading about politics, I'm listening to political talk shows from all sides of the spectrum. Thanks for visiting this site, I hope to share with you my enthusiasm and scholarly expertise in the study of politics. It affects each of you. Welcome! </p>
