The Simpson's in my family came from Irvine, Ayrshire before moving to Glasgow.
1st Generation
The furthest back I can trace this family is to Robert Simpson and Agnes Crawford. Robert was born circa 1735 and Agnes was born in 1739. They married circa 1763. Robert died in 1795. They had 4 children:
