The McEwan's in my family came from Ayrshire before moving to Glasgow.
1st Generation
William McEwan married Catherine Lynch in Ayrshire. Catherine's parents were John Lynch and Margaret Bruce. William and Catherine had 6 children:

Robert married Catherine Taylor in 1880 in Kilmarnock. Catherine was born circa 1860, her parent's were James Taylor and Jane Robertson. Robert and Catherine had 3 children:

Following Robert's death Catherine married John Mitchell, in Kilmarnock.
John married Martha Burgoyne in 1891 in Kilmarnock. Martha was born in 1876 in Kilmarnock, her parent's were Peter Burgoyne and Annie Murphy. John and Martha had 6 children and 1 adopted son.

Neil married Mary Hendry (McGowan) in 1904 in Glasgow. Mary was born in 1872 in Bridgeton, Glasgow, her parents were Thomas Hendry and Sarah O'Brien. They had 1 child:

Following Mary's death Neil married Harriet Lamont (Carmichael) in 1935 in Glasgow. Harriet's parents were James Lamont and Helen Connelly.
3rd Generation
Robert and Catherine's children:
Sarah Jane married Patrick Collins in 1900. Patrick was born circa 1876. His parents were John Collins and Margaret Milligan. Sarah Jane and Patrick had 1 child.

Lewis married Alice Victoria Gardner in 1917 in Glasgow. Alice was born circa 1898, her parents were James Anderson Gardner and Jane McLellan.
Annie married Patrick McGrechan in 1914 in Glasgow. Patrick was born in 1896 in Rutherglen, his parent's were James McGrechan and Ellen Docherty. Patrick died in 1918 in the 1st World War. Annie married James Pryce in 1923 in Bonhill, Dumbartonshire. James was born circa 1900, his parent's were Henry Pryce and Helen Brown. Annie and Patrick had 2 children:
