The Astro Orbiter is the replacement of the Rocket Jets, which were above the old PeopleMover loading area in the center of Tomorrowland. New Tomorrowland is designed to be a world of motion, and by putting the Astro Orbiter at the entrance the movement is emphasized from the time you enter Tomorrowland. |
