| This is a Disneyland opening day attraction that never made it to Walt Disney World. Originally it was opened as Canal Boats of the World (redesigned as Storybook Land Canal Boats, 1956). This project was a labor of love for Walt and the Imagineers. You first board your canal boat with your guide, and you are immediately taken into the mouth of Monstro the whale. on your travels you will see villages of many of the Disney classics, as well as some of the newer animated features. It is a wonderful whimsical view of some of our favorite animated motion pictures from our youth and before. |
