| This is the Disneyland Mounted Cavalry! Actually it is the Disneyland Marching Band, riding the carousel. every now and then the band will march up Main Street (usually in the early morning), through the castle, and line up to get on the carousel. After the people who were riding the carousel exit, the band will enter (before other riders) and board the carousel in an orderly manner, much like a Mounted Cavalry. The ride seems longer when the band is playing, but it truly is a magical experience. |
