| The Alice in Wonderland attraction was added in 1958. During the 1983 Fantasyland rehab the Teacups were moved from the center of Fantasyland to their present location in an area that is exclusively Alice. Alice is a dark ride, and your vehicles are shaped like the caterpillar (see photo below) from the movie. As you start the ride, you are shrunk small enough to ride in your caterpillar vehicle, and you take off up a leaf and on to Wonderland. You even go through a deck of the Red Queen's guards as cards. I have been told that part of the ride is above the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and that is why your vehicle climbs up the leaf before you enter the attraction building. |
