| This photo causes a bitter-sweet reaction among many of the Disney parks faithful. The PeopleMover still exists in Walt Disney World as the Tomorrow land Transportation Authority (TTA), however it was removed from Disneyland in 1995. The PeopleMover was Walt's vision of a possible transportation system for moving many people economically from one place to another in modern cities. The PeopleMover developed a following of people who liked to ride it, to see the park from a different perspective, to take a relaxing break and rest one's weary feet, and some used the "dark" portions of the ride to snuggle with the one they love and perhaps steal a kiss or two. |
